The Wayfarer was project for the design of an outdoor music performance space for the drummer Mickey Hart, whose obsession with vibrations inspired the drive to transform a piece of landscape in Richmond Park into an interactive rhythm machine. The main interest of the project was finding and forming nuances within the intricate relationships between sound, landscape, and human interaction.

The project explored the methodology of designing a piece of landscape with the design of an instrument as the prerequisite, as well as the condition of one musician leading/conducting the others during a live musical performance.
